Accrue is building the easiest way for African traders, businesses, creators, and developers to move money across borders.

We’re hiring a Merchant Growth Associate to grow Accrue Business and Cashramp in Ghana. This role has two shapes: a field-first merchant growth role and a digital/outbound growth role focused on creators, developers, and businesses that could use the Cashramp API.

You might spend your mornings in Makola, your afternoons in Achimota, and your evenings editing a TikTok of a trader you just onboarded. Or you might spend your day on LinkedIn mapping creator communities, developer founders, fintech builders, digital platforms, and cross-border businesses — starting conversations, qualifying use cases, booking demos, and helping them run their first Cashramp API transaction.

Either way, this is not a passive desk job. You’ll be talking to real users, testing acquisition ideas, pushing people from interest to activation, and turning insights from the market into our next growth loop.

Who You Are

• Comfortable spending most of your day talking to strangers, whether in-person, over WhatsApp, or through LinkedIn DMs..
• Naturally persuasive, energetic, and hard to embarrass.
• Understand Nigerian and Ghanaian trader culture, informal commerce, creator businesses, online communities, or developer ecosystems.
• Can clearly explain a product to different audiences: market traders, SME owners, creators, developers, founders, and operators.
• Can identify high-potential leads, personalize outreach, follow up consistently, and move people toward activation.
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting, especially on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, X, and community platforms.
• Can shoot and edit simple mobile content quickly. Vertical video doesn't scare you.
• Curious about APIs, fintech infrastructure, payment flows, and how developers adopt tools. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be able to understand and communicate API use cases.
• Obsessed with growth, experimentation, and learning what actually converts.
• Highly resourceful and independent. You don't wait to be told what to do.
• Fluency in French, Twi, Ga, Pidgin, or other local languages is a strong plus.
